Free Health Insurance Leads
Being a health insurance agent is not an easy job. You can spend the whole day talking to prospects, but the end result could be frustrating, especially if your customer rejects you. Even if you are able to explain the value of your product and be better than any other agent trying to earn that prospect’s business, it might not be enough to make a sale at the end of the day. You have to know the people who are in need of health insurance. But what if you can’t afford to purchase these leads? You are therefore left with one choice, and that is to have free health insurance leads.
Free health insurance leads are steady stream of prospects that you can avail of for free. Usually, health insurance leads are sold on an exclusive basis and are delivered real-time to customers minutes after the online request is made. If you are an insurance agent, you can ask for referrals from the leads you already purchased. These referrals now become your free health insurance leads. These prospects are interested enough to search the Internet for an insurance quote, and as an agent, it is your responsibility to make certain that they get one from you.
Always remember that each health insurance lead you have is more than one sale. You can generate free health insurance leads out of the leads that you already have, if you just have the ability to interact with people and build a relationship with them. Most importantly, you have to contact your leads as quickly as possible, if not by phone, at least by email. Be prepared to call them many times to achieve the positive results you hope will lead to a sale.
12 Pomegranate Health Benefits
Countless studies have shown the seemingly countless benefits of fruits for a person’s health. The U.S. Government recommends that people get several servings of fruits every day. Of all the fruits available in the market today, one fruit is at its height of popularity because of its legendary Greek mythology association and its exoticism-the pomegranate fruit.
Considered as one of the earliest fruits that have been cultivated along with grapes, figs, olives, and dates somewhere between 4000 B. C. E and 3000 B. C. E., pomegranate continued to be an emblem of fertility, rebirth, and health.
Dubbed as a “miracle fruit” by some fans, pomegranate has earned its popularity because it is thought to possibly help support the body’s natural defenses against Alzheimer’s disease, various cancers, coronary and heart diseases, arthritis and many ailments an aging person experiences. Because of its so -called anti-aging possibilities, pomegranate has had several food and beverage variations from juices, ice creams, dishes, and even in water that come in bottles.
Why is pomegranate good for you?
This handsome fruit is quite popular for its deep and purple-colored juice that is packed with lots of antioxidants that may help in maintaining a smooth and wrinkle free skin. But, aside from the possibility of helping people to maintain youthful and glowing skin by keeping the blood platelets together, there are so many health benefits of pomegranate to people of all ages. While no health claims are made regarding pomegranate whatsoever, here are some of the remedies and uses that some people hope pomegranate can help with.
1. It may help reduce the risk of having a heart disease, heart attacks, and strokes. Studies show that pomegranate juice daily may help support the normal blood flow to the heart. Because of its antioxidant properties, pomegranate keeps bad cholesterol from forming, and thus, may help keep the arteries clear of clots.
2. It may help support the body’s normal defense in the prevention of certain cancers. Since pomegranates has very high levels of antioxidant called “flavenoids” that is thought to be effective in counteracting various cancer-causing radicals, more and more experts recommend this fruit as a possible part of a healthy diet. Because of flavenoids, many people are consuming pomegranate because it is believed to help support their good health.
3. It may help reduce the risks for illnesses such as atherosclerosis, osteoarthritis, and diabetes. Because of the properties of pomegranate, conditions that are known to cause the thickening and hardening of arterial walls and damage in cartilage and joints are hoped to be helped by this fruit. Studies are needed of course to get test results. No claims are made as to what the pomegranate may or may not help.
4. It is a rich source of various vitamins. Pomegranate is a good, natural source of vitamins A, C and E as well as folic acid.
5. It is rumored to help reduce the possibility of having premature babies. Pomegranate juice and extract is thought by some people to help expectant mothers avoid having low birth weight babies.
6. Some users claim it is beneficial for relieving minor illnesses such as core throat.
7. Other users believe it might reduce the possibility of developing Alzheimer’s disease among older people.
8. It is prized in some countries for the belief that it might help in achieving and maintaining a clear skin with youthful glow, and it is believed to help soothe skin inflammation.
9. The antioxidants are thought to help support the immune system.
10. It may help support healthy blood flow because of its iron properties. Pomegranate supports the blood by supplying it with iron, thus may help prevent anemia symptoms that include exhaustion, dizziness, weakness, and hear loss.
11. Aside from having lots of anti-oxidants, pomegranate also might have some anti-viral properties.
12. Pomegranate juice and extract is thought by some women to help in overcoming the feeling of general malaise during menopause.
While no medical claims can be made for pomegranate, the juice is growing in popularity every day as more and more people try it and benefit from it.

Affordable Insurance Can Be Found?
Having trouble finding affordable health insurance? It is not ‘one size fits all.’ Now, with the increases in policy rates, hardly anyone in Georgia can ‘afford’ to stay healthy. Depending on your current state of health, budget and individual needs, the best insurance for you may be far different than the best insurance for a friend or another family member. What can you do protect your family? Contact an expert insurance consultant and talk to them about your needs. They can show all available policies, not just one policy from one carrier.

That can be helpful in determining which plan will work best for you. Before you buy insurance for any purpose, a talk with a ‘Georgia health insurance consultant’ can save literally thousands of dollars per year.
Picking Policies?
‘What policy do I choose?, how much deductible is right, is my prescription drugs covered’ these are the things that are on most people’s minds when they look for health insurance. In Florida there are many insurance agents, selling their special type of health insurance policy. These policies vary from agent to agent, even in the same city, so the best bet is to search all available insurance companies through a insurance ‘portal’: http://www.GeorgiaHealthInsuranceWeb.com
Traditional health insurance is called ‘fee for service’ or 80/20 coverage. This is most likely the type of insurance that you grew up with. With that type of health insurance, you are entitled to visit any doctor you choose, and the insurance company pays 80 percent of the bill.
Health Savings Accounts?
Many other options exist for covering medical expenses. A Health Savings Account allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars each month. Catastrophic insurance carries a low premium with a high deductible, and is designed to cover you if you develop a serious illness or injury. However, for the average consumer, the choice is generally between fee for service and managed care. All types of plans carry their own advantages and disadvantages, and it is important to understand what these are in order to make the right decisions for your family. Health Benefits of Quinoa
The ancient seed of Quinoa is so versatile and such an important source of nutrients that it has been referred to as the “gold” of the Incas. It is known to increase stamina, a useful aid in days gone by when “warriors” needed every bit of advantage they could get when their “people” were under attack.
However, such is the structure of Quinoa, it has the benefit of being a natural and complete protein. This means that it has all the amino acids like acid lysine which is very important for the repair and growth of body tissue. As shown below, it is known to be beneficial to the body in a number of ways – nature’s natural remedy.
Migraines and hypertension
Riboflavin and magnesium are the natural aids in Quinoa for bad headaches. They are known to help relax the blood vessels, which reduces constriction and so eases tension. Basically they help the body to function better which in turn eases the stress the body experiences when circumstances make it over work. While no one claims it makes headaches go away, it can help and is known to reduce the frequency of migraine attacks.
Childhood Asthma
Many allergies are connected with grass seeds but Quinoa is not a grass. It is a plant but is not known to produce serious allergic reactions in people. Asthma is the result of breathing difficulties that are made worse by tension. It is known to have triggers and often there is a family history of asthma. It is known to have got worse over the years and many experts point to our modern living conditions as making it more prevalent. While not all asthma attacks are caused by allergies which may or may not be avoidable, it is known that Quinoa helps to reduce body stress and helps to keep the airways open. It is recommended that children with asthma eat a whole food diet. Many of the nutrients that we need are in Quinoa such as Magnesium which naturally helps to reduce spasms in the bronchial tubes. We know that many asthma sufferers are short of vitamin b, minerals like magnesium, zinc and iron all of which can be found in Quinoa. Why not check out some of the recipes and see which ones are easiest to include in your child’s diet.
Gallstones
This is another surprising area where Quinoa is known to be useful. It may not get rid of gallstones but it can help protect their development. Indeed this is another case where a wholesome diet rich in fiber can aid in the digestion of foodstuffs. As it is a soluble fiber it speeds through the intestines and reduces the need of increased bile production. Too much bile production helps to develop gallstones so this is another natural remedy for our bodies.
Type 2 Diabetes
Quinoa is rich in magnesium which is a mineral that is essential in the body’s ability to deal with glucose and insulin. Yet again there is evidence that Quinoa, as part of a whole food diets aids in the digestion of foods. It is also known to increase Insulin sensitivity while reducing triglycerides (blood fats which need to be kept low in diabetics).
Heart Disease
Quinoa is known to prevent the clogging of arteries and veins which in turn helps to relieve stresses on the heart. The fat in Quinoa is good fat in that is low in cholesterol and can help reduce blood pressure thanks to the presence of potassium and magnesium. In other words it is a good source of protein without the drawbacks of too much saturated fat and cholesterol.
Pregnant Mums
Quinoa is known to be an endurance food which gives energy. It is also known to be a good source of Iron which pregnant mums are always advised to increase in their diet. It is good for tissue repair and development of teeth and bones. Along with the other benefits of Quinoa, it is a useful source of goodness that forming babies will demand in plenty as they grow. It is also good for Mums when they are feeding as it will improve the quality of milk for new-born infants.
Cataracts
Quinoa is thought to help prevent cataracts and may aid those with the condition. Studies have shown that people who absorb about 99 grams of protein were only half as likely to develop nuclear cataracts(light is difficult to pass through the centre of the eye) while those with the greater polyunsaturated fats about 17 grams a day were 30 percent likely not to develop problems with the outer lens(corticular cataracts).
Nowadays, we are looking more and more to natural foods. We all know the benefits of fibre in our diet but until more recently we have forgotten about Quinoa.

6 Great Health Tips For Computer Users!
1. Beware the strain of working 8-hour days
Eye strain, soreness, visual fatigue and headaches can all result from a computer screen set at an uncomfortable height or angle. You can avoid these 21st century work-related hazards simply by adjusting the position of your screen.
When sitting comfortably and looking at the screen, your eyes should ‘land’ at the top of it. If they don’t, you’re likely to experience eye related difficulties later on.
You may find it easier to re-position your chair, rather than the computer.
Arrange the screen at 90 degrees to your desk, to minimize reflections from ceiling lights and/or high windows.
Take regular breaks. Fatigue and stress aren’t helped by the bright light given off by computer screens. Spend at least 5 minutes every hour doing non-computer work. This will rest your eyes.
2. Stretching your ankles could ease chronic back pain
Shortened Achilles tendons can cause chronic back pain. They prevent you from walking well, putting stress on your spine. Here’s how to relax and strengthen your tendons, reducing the risk to your back.
Stand 60-90cm away from a wall, facing it. Lean towards the wall, putting palms flat against it with both feet on the ground.
Move one foot half the distance to the wall. Keep your other leg straight at the knee, with your heel flat on the floor.
Now, bend the forward knee and both arms slowly and rhythmically.
The back heel must be kept on the floor and the tail tucked in at all times.
Continue for 20 seconds. Relax. Change legs and repeat ten times.
3. Avoid backache by sitting properly at your desk
Keep your feet firmly on the floor when working. Dangling legs affect your circulation, create bad posture and lead to backache.
4. Avoid computer-related hand and wrist injuries
Do this simple exercise every morning before work. Hold your arms out straight in front of you. Lift up your hands at 90 degrees, and spread your fingers. Hold for five seconds, lower, and relax. Then clench your fists, and lower your wrists at 90 degrees. Hold for five seconds, straighten, and relax. Repeat ten times, and repeat at lunchtime, just before starting work for the afternoon.
5. How leaning on a wall beats back strain and injury
This great daily exercise only takes a few minutes. It helps re-align the muscles in your back, to help undo the strains of everyday life.
Stand with your back against a wall, with your feet 14-20cm (5-8 inches) away from the skirting board.
Now try to flatten the small of your back against the wall, by pulling in your stomach muscles. Do not bend your knees.
Hold this position for five seconds, then relax and repeat five times.
Keep breathing regularly and evenly throughout.
6. Is your office lighting making you ill?
White fluorescent lighting tubes, used in most offices, schools and hospitals, were first implicated in health scares back in the 1970s. The electromagnetic fields around fluorescent tubes can be 4 to 6 times above the accepted exposure levels for an office when sitting down, and up to 32 times when you stand up.
Fluorescent lighting was not meant to come into such general use. It was a temporary, emergency feature that was only ever intended to keep factories working 24 hours a day during the Second World War. This form of lighting is banned in German hospitals and clinics. As far back as 1982, it was the subject of a study at Sydney University, Australia into skin cancers. And school children are at risk from it too. One study observed fluorescent lights causing nervous fatigue, irritability, lapses of attention and hyperactive behavior. Another study, carried out by eight dentists, even found a very significant increase in the number of cavities and tooth decay in those children working under standard fluorescent lighting. But complaints of headaches, eye problems, electrical sensitivity and other health complaints in the workplace have all been eliminated when these fluorescent tubes are replaced with full spectrum lighting. This mimics the effect of natural sunlight. A well-known London investment bank now using FSL reports low staff illness and turnover, plus higher productivity.
While FSL is more expensive than fluorescent lighting, it actually lasts twice as long. So if you wish to approach your boss with a proposal to switch to FSL in the office, make sure you balance the health benefits against the cost. Less absenteeism and increased productivity will make FSL more cost effective in the long run. Contact your local lighting stockist for further details.

Health Insurance – The Doctor Visit
Many times a patient will come to a doctor visit completely unprepared for the paperwork and for the visit itself. By not being prepared, patients waste valuable time that is their own time, the office workers’ time and the doctor’s time. When a patient is not ready for the doctor visit, they slow down the pace of things as well as end up calling back to clarify or tell the doctor something. Sometimes these callbacks result in the need to schedule yet another doctor visit, making the waste one of both time and money.
By being prepared, patients can prevent these things from happening. There are several things to bring to the doctor’s visit every time in order to be sure everything necessary is covered. The first and likely the most important piece of paperwork to bring is the current insurance card. Changes happen between the health insurance company and the doctor’s office that often require the current health insurance card to update or verify things. Another thing to bring is proper identification. In this day and age of identity theft, health insurance companies and doctor’s offices need to verify identity on a regular basis.
Other things to bring to the doctor’s office include an updated list of medications and supplements to be sure the doctor is up to date with the records, an updated family history if things have changed or been remembered, and a written list of specific questions and concerns for the doctor to address. By doing all of these things, the health insurance information is up to date and the office visit will go smoothly with all questions addressed and medical history correct. This will all add up to a productive doctor visit that addresses the patient’s needs and does not cost the health insurance company or the patient in extra visits.
Health insurance is something that all families know they need but often something they overlook or go the cheapest route possible without realizing how unprotected that leaves the family. In the event of a medical care necessity such as an illness or injury, the health care coverage may not be up to par if it has been ignored, not updated or the policy under insures the family. By ensuring the health care policy is a quality one with proper coverage and updated as needed, the family is protected and taken care of in the event of any medical care needs.

5 Essential Health Tips For Longer Life and Well Being
There could be several ways of looking at life and there could be several approaches to make sure that one has a long and healthy life. There could be medical ways of doing so, there could be psychological ways of doings so, by taking care of the diet and exercising could be another way to approach the subject. However, if you are someone who likes to water the roots and not the leaves should follow these five amazing essentials for a healthy long life.
1 – Slowing Down is the first secret to long, healthy and a happy life. In the modern day world we are running from one pole to the other. We have deadlines imposed so that we could world better and more efficiently. Unknowingly we are trying to compete with the machines. Forgetting it completely that we are not machine and human body has its own capabilities and limitations. Slowing down and acknowledging the body’s need to rest is very important as well. Hence, try to calm down and try not to squeeze yourself between schedules. Give time to yourself.
2 – Nourishing your body is another indispensable aspect of keeping oneself healthy. Eating food which has all the required components to keep the body working well is required. Skipping meals or grabbing junk food is the worst that you could do to your body. Healthier you would eat, the more health years you would be adding to your life. Green vegetables and essential vitamin intake in the daily diet would make a lot of difference.
3 – Exercising is another way of keeping the body healthy. While we exercise, the amount of oxygen which is dispensed is more and thus the body functions better. At the same time, this allows the body to be more active and helps it to build a strong immune system against the diseases. In case someone is not to inclined to have an exercising regime, taking a 30 minutes walk every day would be enough to keep your body in shape for good and healthier life.
4 – Facing the fears one has could also have positive effect on our body and health. Fear, anxiety, stress are the most negative feeling that could shatter the body and mind. The only way to keep away from these is to stand up and confront the same. Confronting a problem would mean that you face is and resolve it rather than hiding from it and being developing a fear. The fear would wreck your body and mind more than the actual problem can harm you.
5 – Practicing compassion may sound like a religious discourse to some but it works. Human kindness and compassion is an essential part of our personality. Ignoring that completely would hold you back from blossoming and thus to have a long healthy life. This can help control the stress and anxiety and would make a person go calmer.
All the other ways of ensuring a long life would be branching from the above five points. Fancy names and colored terms could be provided to those, but the basics would be the same as listed above.
Health and Safety Risk Assessments in the Workplace
In every workplace environment there is a fundamental and legal need for managing health and safety factors. This is carried out by trained and skilled occupational health and safety professionals. Training has many different levels leading up to the NEBOSH National Diploma. This is a qualification for those individuals following such a career and can lead to a consultancy position with an organisation.
Risk assessments are required by law and are overseen by the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations (Management Regulations). If you are a business with five or more employees then you must record significant findings by law.
Risk assessment is often carried out on a day to day basis within an organisation by delegated individuals who have fulfilled the necessary training. Two terms are fundamental to the assessment – risk and hazard. A “hazard” is anything which has the potential to cause harm, and risk is the actual likelihood of that harm occurring. So in effect an assessor needs to recognise the hazard in the work environment, gauge the likelihood of a harmful incident occurring because of it, and decide what preventative action needs to be taken if it were to occur.
As can be expected by the above description, one of it’s chief criticisms is it can be very subjective. This is where the need for health and safety training such as the NEBOSH National Diploma can be paramount. An occupational safety consultant within an organisation can help support employees carrying out risk assessments and monitor internally.
A simple risk level indicator is filled out and updated on a regular basis (usually once a month or when there is a significant change to the environment or the individual factor) to determine which areas need attention.
The table created is a matrix between highly likely and unlikely, slightly harmful and extremely harmful and whether the risk is trivial, moderate, tolerable or substantial. On completing the assessment it is important to put your results into practice. Within your action plan the assessor needs to prioritise which factors are the most important. The record must be kept up to date and also the precautions that have been put in place must be monitored regularly to ensure they are still effective.
Risk assessment can be carried out by a delegated member of staff who has been trained by a superior member of staff to process it, or someone who has attended basic health and safety training. But risk assessment is only a minor part of the health and safety arena. As stated earlier, employees wishing to follow a career in occupational health and safety can attend in house training for their industry. Further qualifications can be attained for nationally recognised bodies such as NEBOSH.
